SO ... guess you can see why my blog has it's name. i have been so busy it's not funny! here's a little update on me ....
* work all the time
* now teach 3 years - k grade on wed at my church
* new secretary of the Women Mission group at church
* finding time for friends and now
*Maid of Honor for my sister!!!! wedding is April 25 = )
That's not even the half of it! If you could see my calendar, you would understand. Some say, "You're too busy. No wonder you're single". I guess they think it's terrible to be single. I don't. I believe singleness is a gift from God, and it's one I haven't used in the right way for awhile.! Church is amazing! My pastor had major open heart surgery back in Oct, and it's amazing how God has worked through that! We had a fall concert in Nov at church --- it was wonderful. Above and beyond that really. And, much praise to God ..... my sister has moved from Woodville back home and is getting married to a wonderful, christian man, Jeremy, in April!!!! I'm her MOH ... and man what fun this is going to be for her! She has no idea! LOL! If you've ever seen friends ... I'm like Monica and she's kinda like Rachel. When Monica is getting married and trying to decide on her MOH, she hands a very detailed list to Phoebe and Rachel. That will be me, only I'll be handing the list to the bride!
So, that's just a small update on my busy day. I have several others floating around in my mind, but they will have to wait.

OK ... so it's no surprise to me i'm no good at keeping this updated....
SO here's a little update from my busy days .....
My room is D-O-N-E DONE!!!!! yay! my dad was my life saver, painter, trim contractor, curtain hanger, mini blind hanger, and boss! not sure what i would have done without him! i love him so much anyways, and i'll always cherish these past few weeks of learning why and how he does what he does for a living.
I'm headed to VEGAS!!!!!!!!! woohoo! i've never flown before! how awesome!!!! i'll leave on a saturday and back on wednesday. just the right time! i'm very excited!
I house sat last week for a co-worker of mine. really i was dog sitting for an inside dog. i've learned i'm not a dog person, and how to get in a house when you lock yourself out. yes. i locked myself out. stupid dog's fault partly. if,in fact, i ever have an inside dog, i will have a very small fenced in area and a doggie door for it to go as it pleases. I was offered an all expense trip to PCB for 5 days for dog sitting, but i'm not going. for several reasons. and i'm fine with that.
as my previous post stated that i had been a good bit of reflecting; i'm still going through it all, but it's all good. i'm amazed at God's grace and just how powerful and great HE and HIS will are!
hope life is treating you well .. .. .. .. ..

Time ... amazing and sometimes overwhelming
SO guess i'm not much on keeping an updated blog. However, my site title fits me to a tee! I've been very busy. My dad and I have started redoing my bedroom. So far so good! It's a beach theme and looking great, but progress is moving slow.
I had my 23rd birthday back in May. I always take a look back and ponder on the past year. This year was no exception. One year ago today, I was getting ready for something that isn't so unheard of to many people, especially my age, but to me it was. I was going for 5 days and 4 nights to Destin, FL with my best guy friend,DG. I had decided to start living a life that I would be proud of and ok with in later years. This involved me "removing my stick". I have to say I think I did a pretty good job at removing my stick.
My birthday last year was my "golden year". I was 22 on the 22nd of May. Everyone said that year should be one of my best. It was. Never in my life had I been on a boat, out at the lake, took a vacation without my family or church family, thought about love , had a heartbreak, or had such a desire to know my Savior even more. Also, I almost went to Jamaica and got a passport in no time. Thanks to Hurricane Dean, I didn't get to and I missed an old friend's wedding. I learned so much last year. I learned what I didn't want to do with my life. I didn't want to be in a dead end job and at a place where I felt like I wasn't doing what I could and how it should be done. So I left. It was very hard finanically, spiritually, and emotionally. I watched some friendships fade away and some grow to more than I ever could imagine. I sat back and have watched friends do things and turn out like they never said they would;this equals heartbreak for their behalf. I finally figured out that I needed to stand up for myself because no one else should. I too, have figured out that girls are just as complicated as guys. But now, I have decided to make a list of things I have never done but would love too one day if time permits .....
23 things ....
1. get an IRA
2. buy a new(er) car
3. buy some furniture
4. live alone for even a week in a place of my own
5. take a vacation to another country
6. take a cruise
7. go to hawaii
8. go to disney world
9. sky dive
10.travel to most, if not all, 50 states
11. read a complete book on a beach
12. go skiing
13. get married
14. have an inground swimming pool
15. ride a roller coaster
16. have a family
17. own my own shop
18. run one mile
19. keep on singing and never let my song die
20. dont let age get me down
21. use my good dishes for no special reasons
22. wear a red dress
23. strive to live only for Christ
more to come at another time .......................

ok, so i'm guessing you can tell now why my title is what it is. lets play catch up for a minute, shall we ....
Last wednesday i went had lunch with KJ, looked around at some stores for new bedding for my room, went and visited my cousin KB in the hospital, had dinner with my friends Meg and Liz, went shopping and to Coldstone with Liz, and finally got home. I love having wednesdays off. It's the middle of the week and you can get so many things accomplished that you just can't on saturday or sundays. Thursday nights are family night at our house, and we had a wonderful supper thanks to mom. Work was great thursday, friday and saturday. Only saturday was prom, and so much small town drama. It's funny really! I came home both friday and saturday evening and helped my parents with yard work. I love working in the yard! Sunday was great! Church was great, then my cousin SA (i work with him at the beauty shop as well) and i went and met my parents and had lunch. Then we went and shopped for bridal shower gifts for some friends of ours at church, went back to church, helped set up for the bridal shower, church, then bridal shower, and finally home.
About 3 AM monday morning i was woke up by my dad who was very sick saying he thought he may need to go to the ER. that let me know right then and there he was not OK! he never goes to the doctor! well mom and him took off close to 4. he was admitted about 6 and had his gall bladder removed yesterday. ive had a crazy, long, exhausting week and today isnt even over with and i havent even worked this week.
oh well! i'll just keep on enjoying my busy days ...

Ok, so for a long while I have been a half-way,faithful reader of my sister's and other friends blogs on here and decided ... maybe I would become a blogger too. We'll see how long this new addicition last! Today, like every Wednesday -- IM OFF! I haven't accomplished anything just yet, but I have a busy and fun day ahead of me! I have lunch with an old friend from Woodville,KJ, who I haven't seen since October I believe. Then I plan on going to look for new bedding for my room, which I'm planning to start the remodeling within the next month. At some point I will go to visit my cousin,KB,who is being treated for cluster miagraines. I have supper plans tonight with Meg and Liz, then church/business meeting and choir. I'm thinking now that I'm seeing what all I have to do today, maybe it would be smart of me to leave the computer and get ready!
